A day in the life of a Sales Schema Account Strategist.

You log into Slack and learn from our sales team that we just won a client: a mid-size marketing agency based in Austin, Texas looking to reach enterprise CPG companies.

You collect initial details on them, and after reviewing their website, your mind is racing with creative ideas you and the team could implement to get results.

Later, you go back and forth over Slack with our list-builders – one is cruising along and enriching data for a client, and another got confused and turned around an error-strewn list, so you make short loom with edits so he can take another pass at it.

You log onto Zoom to lead a client onboarding call – you did your homework and you have a number of questions ready.  There’s a lot of learning to do so you can implement a winning strategy.

After breaking for lunch and getting a workout in, you log back in and get to work on email copy for an internal sales campaign.  You run the copy and a nearly-finalized list by our sales team for feedback, and after getting approval, you set up a new email campaign in Apollo (our email sending platform).

Late afternoon comes along, you take a break to devote thinking time to a tricky operational challenge – over six months, our team created and ran half a dozen different campaigns for a client and we’re running out of ideas.  What do we do next?!

From there, you jot down a few topics you’d like to discuss during the next team meeting and you log off for the day.  You’re a little exhausted but satisfied with everything you accomplished.

Position requirements.

If the above sounds like a good fit, the rest of the requirements are pretty straightforward.

  • Be available for Zoom calls with our team and clients during continental US business hours.

  • Communicate promptly with us over phone, email, Slack, and our CRMs.

  • Achieve certain client retention and satisfaction KPIs, to be discussed later in the process.

Compensation.

This will start as a part-time (around 20-hour per week) position @ $25-30 per hour.

The right candidate should expect to transition to full-time employee status within 4-6 months, in the realm of $45k-60k per year (a combination of base salary plus performance bonus based on client retention and positive feedback).
